OFFICE OF ASSESSMENT
Mission Statement
The Office of Assessment provides various services that support preparation for program accreditation as well as assessment planning/implementation and reporting. We also assist administrative and academic units with a broad range of assessment activities for both Jonsson School and university-wide assessments.
Course Evaluation
The Office of Assessment conducts evaluation of all ECS courses and faculty every semester. The evaluation is a semester-long process beginning with the faculty scheduling their course evaluation dates, the ECS teaching assistants enrolling to evaluate courses and, finally, the evaluation itself toward the end of the semester.
Faculty can view their evaluation results at the UTD evaluations Web site.
