CATSS performs forward-looking research and development in wireless and optical networking.
Center for Integrated Circuits and Systems (CICS)
CICS brings together people working in the general area of integrated circuits and systems. CICS is dedicated to conduct collaborative research and develop excellence in integrated circuits and systems design.
Center for Systems, Communications and Signal Processing (CSCSP)
CSCSP develops strong research programs recognized at the national and international levels; promotes collaboration among members, graduate students and university and industry research groups and improves graduate level education through research projects and courses.
Cybersecurity Research Center (CSRC)
CSRC) is part of UTD’s CyberSecurity and Emergency Preparedness Institute and has been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education by both the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security.
Embedded Software Center
The Embedded Software is an industrial/academic collaborative center for advanced research to dramatically increase the productivity and quality of complex embedded applications.
Emergency Preparedness Center
The Emergency Preparedness Center researches and develops techniques and methodologies to enable rapid effective response to chemical or other incidents, occurring unprompted or due to deliberate sabotage by terrorists.
Global Information Assurance Center
The Global Information Assurance Center conducts focused research into techniques and methodologies for ensuring physical security of information.
Photonic Technology and Engineering Center (PhoTEC)
The purpose of PhoTEC is to increase the number of UTD graduates at the Master's and Doctor's levels who have leading-edge skills in photonics, and to increase the amount of sponsored research in the area of photonics at the university.
Texas Analog Center of Excellence
The Texas Analog Center of Excellence is dedicated to helping shape the landscape for research in analog electronics. It’s the centerpiece of a $16 million collaborative effort to help solve difficult problems facing analog designers and create new fields in electronics that can help address a variety of significant global challenges.
