Welcome to the UTD Office of International Education (OIE) webpage!

The OIE team embraces the 2011-12 academic year to meet the expectations of our growing UT Dallas community, whose input into the international education agenda has been fundamental to define and shape our annual strategic plan.

Over the past six years, seven types of mobility have been defined and consolidated: Study Abroad, Exchange Mobility, Internships, Independent Study, Customized Programs, Research, and Non-Credit Programs. As of Summer 2011, UT Dallas has formalized more than ninety international collaborations with some of the most prestigious universities around the world, including seventeen exchange program agreements.

According our preliminary data, four hundred and thirty six (436) UT Dallas students pursued international educational programs during the academic year 2010-11, a growth of more than twenty percent (24.9%) over the previous academic year. Many of these students obtained support from the UT Dallas International Education Fund Scholarship.

This growth would not have been possible without the guidance of UT Dallas leaders, administrative, and academic units that have been essential for shaping the OIE functions during the last six years and helped us to provide accessible, simple, and efficient services to our students. Thank you all!
